Kevin Medrek is the principal of Medrek Design, a full service, multidisciplinary interior design firm specializing in interiors that reflect a diverse range of styles, each uniquely tailored to the individual client.
From modern contemporary to historically traditional, Kevin brings a keen eye for design that is both refined and deeply personal. His work is defined by clean lines, a sense of balance, and a commitment to comfort and timelessness, ensuring every space feels thoughtfully curated and uniquely lived in.
As a graduate of Parsons School of Design with over a decade of experience, Kevin has honed his skills at several of New York City's leading interior design firms, including Frank de Biasi, David Scott Interiors, and Groves & Co.. A native New Englander, he has since returned to the region to join Portland, Maine's vibrant design community, working with Knickerbocker Group before founding Medrek Design in 2025.
Kevin has completed projects in Maine, New York, Connecticut, California, and Florida, and is not limited by location for potential new projects.

What began as a 2,300 square foot spec home built in 2005 was thoughtfully transformed into a 4,500 square foot custom retreat in Water Mill, designed for a highly social couple who love to entertain. We expanded the home across all three levels to include a fully custom primary suite, an upper-level guest suite, a lower-level bunk room, and a media room-perfect for hosting weekend guests and summer gatherings. The renovation also introduced a brand new dining room, while the former dining space off the pool was reimagined as a custom bar, outfitted with every entertaining essential. Architectural consulting, custom millwork design, custom bath design, full finish selections, furnishings, and decor services were provided to complete this tailored yet casual Hamptons retreat.
